About ME

I’m a 60-year-old executive, lifelong mountain biker, and late-blooming healthspan hacker. I started riding in Marin County in the ’80s, got hooked on racing in New Mexico in the ’90s, and—after a long break—was pulled back in thanks to a dear friend, a pandemic, and my fast-rising teenage son who now coaches me.

Racing again in my 50s was humbling at first, but it set me on a path to better performance, deeper health, and a lot more fun. This site is where I share what I’ve learned—on the bike and beyond—as I try to extend the healthy, active years of life.
